Wheat Prices Show Mixed Signals Amid Export Sales Uncertainty
The wheat market is experiencing mixed results on Wednesday, with some contracts showing losses and others fractionally higher. Chicago SRW contracts are down by 4 to 5 cents in value, while KC HRW futures have fallen by 3 to 4 cents at midday.
MPLS spring wheat, however, shows a more nuanced picture, with prices essentially flat on the day.
In related news, Thursday will see the release of export sales data for the week ending September 10. Analysts surveyed by Reuters are predicting bookings ranging from 150,000 to 500,000 MT.
