Wheat Rallies as Grain Market Mixed Amid Favorable Weather

Instruments
Wheat Corn

The grain market finished mixed on Wednesday, with corn and soybeans ending lower while wheat posted solid gains. Corn futures closed down around five cents as traders continued to monitor favorable crop conditions and generally beneficial weather across much of the Corn Belt.

Soybeans also finished lower, giving back another two to three cents as expectations for a large U.S. crop continued to weigh on the market.

The wheat market found support from technical buying and ongoing concerns about global production and export competition, helping it separate itself from weakness in the row crop markets.
