Williams Secures Momentum Midstream Deal for $5.5 Billion Amid LNG Demand Surge
Williams, a Tulsa-based pipeline company, is expanding its operations in the Haynesville shale basin through a $5.5 billion acquisition of Momentum Midstream.
The deal includes approximately $3.5 billion in cash and assumed debt, along with roughly $2 billion in Williams stock.
This strategic move positions Williams to capitalize on growing demand from LNG export facilities, power generation, and industrial users along the U.S. Gulf Coast.
With over 4,000 miles of pipelines, more than 1 million dedicated acres, and gathering, processing, and transportation assets with a combined capacity of about 6 billion cubic feet of gas per day, Williams is set to strengthen its presence in the region.
