Woodfibre LNG Nears Completion in British Columbia

Woodfibre LNG's construction site on the eastern shores of Howe Sound in southwestern B.C. is massive, representing Canada's expanding LNG-export industry.

The project, which has been over a decade in the making, is now 70% complete and on track to be completed by the end of 2027.

With a planned capacity of 2.1 million tonnes per year, Woodfibre will be significantly smaller than LNG Canada's 14 million tonnes per year but still an important contributor to Canada's energy exports.
