WTI Crude Price Declines Amid Ongoing US-Iran Tensions
Despite ongoing tensions in the Middle East, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil prices declined to near $89.10 on Wednesday's early European session.
The US military reported that its forces completed a wave of strikes against Iranian targets on Tuesday after what it said were attempted attacks by Iran against commercial shipping and American service members.
US President Donald Trump warned of more attacks to come if Tehran responded, but this did not seem to have an immediate impact on oil prices.
