West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil prices continued their downward trend on Wednesday, trading around $74.50 in early European hours.

The decline was largely due to mixed signals from US-Iran talks and the Energy Information Administration's upcoming report on crude oil stockpiles.

US President Donald Trump stated that he had 'very productive' conversations with Iran, while Axios reported that an interim deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz could be announced as early as Wednesday.

However, uncertainty in the Middle East remains high, and traders are closely monitoring developments.
