WTI Prices Dip on Diplomatic Hopes and Soaring Middle East Shipments

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) oil prices continued their downward trend for the fourth consecutive day, trading around $93.60 per barrel during Asian hours on Monday.

The drop in prices can be attributed to growing hopes that increased diplomatic efforts could help end the Middle East conflict and restore stable energy flows from the region.

US President Donald Trump's statement that he would 'probably' be open to meeting Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York this week added to the optimism.

Trump may also meet with other Persian Gulf leaders and hold a summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping, further contributing to the diplomatic momentum.
