WTI Surges as Brent Crude Edges Lower

The global market for crude oil saw some fluctuations on August 14th. The October 2026 contract for Brent crude oil exports traded on the ICE London Intercontinental Exchange decreased by 0.02% to $87.05 per barrel, according to APA-Economics.

However, a different trend was observed in the New York NYMEX commodity exchange, where the price of one barrel of WTI crude oil for September 2026 delivery increased by 0.09% to $81.32.
