This comes after a week of declining oil prices due to optimism over a potential Middle East deal.

The national average gas price is currently at $4.05 per gallon, down 0.8 cents from last week, but still up 28.5 cents from a month ago and 93.6 cents from a year ago, according to GasBuddy.
