Yemen Conflict Escalates as Houthis Report 300 Strikes by Saudi Arabia
The conflict in Yemen has escalated significantly over the past week. According to the Houthis, Saudi Arabia launched 26 strikes against areas under their control in just 24 hours.
This brings the total number of strikes by Saudi Arabia to 300 over the last week alone.
The Houthis have been waging a lightning-fast offensive to take control of Yemen's entire Red Sea coast, which would give them dominance over the Bab al-Mandab strait.
The group has also declared a maritime blockade on Saudi Arabia, affecting oil exports through the strait.
