The Yemeni armed forces say they have launched two retaliatory strikes against Saudi Aramco oil facilities in response to airstrikes on the country's strategic province of Hudaydah.

The strikes, which targeted sensitive facilities in Jizan and Yanbu, were carried out with dozens of ballistic missiles and drones, according to a statement from the Yemeni armed forces.

The statement said that Saudi Arabia launched a series of airstrikes on Hudaydah overnight, causing material and moral damage. The Yemeni air defenses engaged enemy aircraft after they entered the country's airspace, preventing further attacks.
