Yemen Hits Saudi Oil Tanker with Ballistic Missile

The Yemeni armed forces spokesperson, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced that his country had targeted a Saudi oil tanker in the Red Sea off the port of Yanbu. The Azman oil tanker was hit with a ballistic missile while sailing through the northern tip of the Red Sea.

Saree stated that the strike was 'precise and direct,' causing a fire on the main deck of the tanker, which led to several other vessels in the area evacuating the region. This attack is part of Yemen's 'siege-for-siege' equation, aimed at retaliating against Riyadh's blockade on the Arab Peninsula nation.

The operation also involved launching ballistic missiles and explosive-laden drones at a Saudi military convoy in the eastern Hadhramaut province. The strike resulted in the destruction of over ten trucks carrying various types of weapons and military equipment.
