Yemen Seeks Energy Cooperation with Sanctions-Hit Iran
Yemen is looking to expand its energy relations with Iran, according to Yemen's envoy, who met with Iran's Deputy Oil Minister for International Affairs Ahmad Asadzadeh at the 28th Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition.
The envoy noted that despite sanctions, Iran has managed to engage in commercial exchanges in the international oil sector. He also mentioned that private companies in Iran have extensive experience in exploration works, which could be beneficial for Yemen.
Iran's deputy oil minister agreed, stating that talks between the two countries on the oil industry have been ongoing and that they will share their experiences with Yemen.
