Yemen Strikes Back at Saudi Arabia with Ballistic Missile Attacks

Yemen's armed forces have launched a series of military operations against Saudi Arabia, targeting a Saudi oil tanker and several military positions. According to Yahya Saree, the Yemeni Armed Forces spokesperson, the operation was part of the country's decision to enforce a maritime ban on traffic linked to Saudi Arabia.

The strike hit the Amzan oil tanker in the northern Red Sea off Yanbu, causing a fire and prompting several other ships to flee. The vessel was reportedly directly hit by a ballistic missile.

Saree stated that the operation also targeted a large military convoy carrying weapons and equipment in the Al-Ubra and Al-Wadi'a areas, destroying over 10 trucks. The convoy was struck with ballistic missiles and drones.

The second operation targeted Saudi forces in the Al-Kanais area, again using ballistic missiles and drones. Saree claimed that dozens of Saudi soldiers were killed or wounded, including officers and commanders, and several weapons depots were destroyed.
