The Yemeni Armed Forces have successfully targeted a Saudi oil tanker called Wafaa in the Red Sea, off the coast of Yanbu. The strike was carried out as part of their ongoing maritime blockade against Saudi Arabia, and marks the eighth Saudi oil tanker to be hit since the blockade began on July 22.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have been enforcing a maritime blockade on Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea, with 29 vessels intercepted or forced to turn back. In response, the Saudi regime has attempted to reroute its oil tankers through the northern Red Sea.

In a statement, the Yemeni Armed Forces vowed to intensify operations against Saudi oil shipping and close every remaining maritime route available to the enemy. They affirm that their goal is to establish the equation of 'blockade for blockade,' regardless of the consequences.
