Zallaf Libya Nears Completion on New Oil Well at Chadar Field

Zallaf Libya Oil and Gas Exploration, Production and Refining Company is nearing completion of the A-6-C126 well at the Chadar field, which is expected to produce around 1,400 barrels of oil per day.

The announcement came during the company's 2026 technical meeting, held by the National Oil Corporation. The meeting discussed various projects and their progress, as well as the company's targets for 2027.

During the meeting, the NOC board member responsible for exploration, production, development and geological and geophysical information instructed company officials to accelerate project implementation to meet production targets.
