0G Expands Compute Finance with New Initiatives and Milestones
Between September 21 and September 29, 0G rolled out a series of launches centered around its Compute Finance initiative. The platform expanded to Ethereum, Solana, Base, and Robinhood Chain, introduced the 0G Hub, and opened the Comfy agent and token launchpad. Public minting also began for Infinite AI (iAI), a digital asset focused on compute within the 0G ecosystem.
During this period, 0G Private Computer, a platform for private, verifiable AI, surpassed 400 billion tokens of AI inference. By October 5, it had processed over 30 million inference requests from 45,000 unique users across more than 100 models.
Compute Finance is designed to shift access to private compute beyond a monthly billing model. Users can obtain compute credits through products like Ascend, 0G's liquid staking product, and Infinite AI (iAI). These credits are intended for eligible AI services and are not redeemable for cash. Public minting for iAI began on September 29 at 09:00 UTC, with over 3,800 tokens minted within the first seven hours.
0G CEO Michael Heinrich highlighted the significance of this design, stating that it transforms compute access into something users can hold and utilize. He emphasized that AI should be a public good, with users able to verify their access.
