$10 XRP Target Eludes Forecasters for Nearly Nine Years
Nearly nine years have passed since the $10 XRP price target was first mentioned in community forecasts during the 2017 bull market. Despite repeated predictions and forecasts, XRP has yet to reach this milestone. On September 24, XRP traded at around $1.50, its recorded highs remaining below $4 on both CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko.
Looking back to 2017, the community was optimistic about XRP's potential, with some predicting it would hit $10 by December 2018. However, this never materialized, and Ripple's fourth-quarter markets report for that year highlighted that company partnerships did not necessarily translate to actual XRP usage.
Fast-forwarding to 2026, several influencers have repeated the $10 target in their forecasts. Ash Crypto predicted a market-wide bull run that would send XRP to $10, while Crypto Cup identified a breakout in the altcoin market as a catalyst for reaching this milestone. However, none of these predictions have come true.
The larger circulating supply since 2017 also puts the $10 target into perspective. With an increase of around 62.3% in XRP's circulating supply, applying a $10 price to today's supply would imply a market capitalization of approximately $628.8 billion.
