The $1,000 XRP price target is back in circulation among cryptocurrency enthusiasts and analysts. Crypto in America host Eleanor Terrett weighed in on the discussion, reigniting debate over whether XRP could reach four figures.
The conversation began after EasyA co-founder Dom Kwok made remarks that hinted at a potential $1,000 XRP price. While his latest post didn't mention XRP directly, it drew attention to the ambitious target he mentioned in April.
Kwok's background has been cited by some as justification for taking his views seriously, given his experience at Goldman Sachs and Circle, as well as his role as co-founder of EasyA. However, not everyone is convinced that a $1,000 XRP price is within reach.
XRP would need to surge approximately 62,400% from its current level of around $1.60 to reach $1,000, according to CoinGecko data. At that price, the token's implied market capitalization would approach $63 trillion.
