Singapore-based crypto payments firm Triple-A has confirmed it was hacked over the weekend, resulting in losses of $11.8 million from its treasury wallets.

The breach was first detected on Saturday and briefly interrupted some services for around three hours while the company secured its infrastructure.

Triple-A emphasized that client funds were not affected as they are held separately in trust accounts at safeguarding institutions, in line with Singapore's Payment Services Regulations.

The stolen funds were taken across several blockchain networks including Ethereum, TRON, Polygon, Arbitrum, Solana, The Open Network, and Bitcoin, with proceeds pooled at a single Ethereum address.
