$13.25M Tare Funding Aims to Democratize Lending Infrastructure with Onchain Credit Platform
Tare Funding, a Brooklyn fintech, has secured $13.25 million in a seed round led by Blockchain Capital to develop an onchain credit platform.
The company aims to build lending infrastructure on Avalanche, rather than creating a standalone token or investment product, and plans to cover all aspects of lending from origination and servicing to capital markets.
Tare's system creates a shared loan record, allowing lenders, borrowers, and investors to work with the same data, which can reduce reconciliation and administrative work across fragmented credit systems.
The funding will support software that records loans on Avalanche and automates payments, accounting, and servicing, as well as supporting whole-loan sales, warehouse financing, and securitizations.
