$133M RLUSD Minting Spree Fuels Ripple's Stablecoin Growth

Ripple's stablecoin supply has seen significant growth in recent days, with $133.3 million in RLUSD minted on the XRP Ledger on August 3.

This substantial minting comes as RLUSD continues to gain traction and liquidity across various use cases, including payments, decentralized finance, and institutional applications.

The total supply of RLUSD on the XRP Ledger has surpassed $850 million, with $309 million minted in the last 30 days alone. In the past seven days, $185 million in RLUSD was minted, highlighting the growing demand for stablecoin liquidity.

Ripple introduced 'Ripple Mint' last month, allowing institutions to mint and redeem RLUSD directly from the source, integrate stablecoin operations into internal systems, and track funds across the full lifecycle of a transaction.
