14-Year-Dormant Bitcoin Wallet Transfers Entire Balance for $51M

A previously inactive Bitcoin wallet has been revived after over 14 years of dormancy. The wallet, which had accumulated approximately 600 BTC, transferred its entire balance to another address on September 22.

The transferred amount is valued at around $51 million at current prices. When the Bitcoins first entered the wallet in the early days of Bitcoin's existence, their value was roughly $4,800, with Bitcoin trading at about $8 per unit.

This means that the wallet's balance has increased by a factor of 10,683 since its initial accumulation.
