A significant movement in Bitcoin wallets has been observed by Galaxy Research, which tracks blockchain activity. Four long-dormant wallets, inactive for over a decade, moved 202.84 BTC between August 29 and September 4, valued at approximately $15.73 million.

The largest transfer was a 146.06 BTC stash from November 2013, showing a gain of about 12,902% from its original cost near $595. Another wallet held 40 BTC purchased in November 2011 for an average price of $3, turning roughly $120 into over $3 million after nearly 15 years.

Galaxy Research noted that one transfer was linked to Coinbase, a move that can indicate an intent to sell. However, they also pointed out that moving coins alone does not prove liquidation and that dormant Bitcoin can return to circulation for various reasons.
