$1,500 Zcash Price Surge Fuels Valour's Regulated Nordic Expansion
Valour, a subsidiary of Nasdaq-listed firm DeFi Technologies, has launched a Zcash ETP on Sweden's Spotlight Stock Market. The new financial vehicle allows European retail and institutional traders to access direct exposure to $ZEC's price through traditional brokerage accounts.
The Valour Zcash ($ZEC) SEK ETP began trading on September 29 with an annual management fee of 1.9%, tracking the market performance of the privacy-focused native asset without requiring technical interaction with the decentralized network.
According to DeFi Technologies, the instrument's launch follows a period of marked volatility in the underlying asset. In 2024, $ZEC traded around $16, while on September 4, 2026, it surpassed the $1,000 per unit threshold, triggering the liquidation of $34 million in short positions.
Johan Wattenström, CEO of DeFi Technologies, stated that Zcash represents one of the pioneering applications of zero-knowledge cryptography within digital assets. Jacob Lindberg, Chief Revenue Officer at Valour, noted sustained demand for $ZEC across both professional and retail investors in the Nordic region.
