$174 Million in Crypto Assets to Be Unlocked Over Next Week
The crypto market will see a significant influx of newly unlocked tokens worth approximately $174 million between September 29 and October 2. This is largely driven by DoubleZero's 2Z token release, which accounts for 47.69% of the circulating supply and has an estimated value of $114 million. The release is scheduled to occur on October 2 at 9 a.m. ET (13:00 UTC), when about 1.66 billion tokens will enter circulation.
Other notable token unlocks include Sui's SUI, Ethena's ENA, Kamino's KMNO, Collector Crypt's CARDS, EigenCloud's EIGEN, and Falcon Finance's FF. These releases have significantly smaller circulating-supply effects compared to DoubleZero's 2Z.
The remaining token unlocks have varying levels of impact on the market, with some having a substantial effect on circulating supply while others are relatively minor. For example, Collector Crypt's CARDS release is scheduled for September 29 at 3 p.m. ET (19:00 UTC) and will involve about 59.26 million tokens valued at $10.7 million.
