$1B Bitcoin Whale Awakens, Heads for Unknown Destination
A significant Bitcoin transaction has taken place, with a wallet containing approximately $1.04 billion in BTC making a transfer to a new recipient wallet on August 3.
The wallet, which had been dormant for seven months, transferred its entire balance of 16,400 BTC, accounting for about 0.0781% of the total Bitcoin supply.
Data from Cypher Citadel suggests that this transaction is classified as an unknown-to-unknown wallet transfer, typically associated with internal custody reshuffling or over-the-counter transactions rather than deposits to exchanges.
