$2 Billion XRP Buy Faces Critical Resistance Zone
A massive $2 billion XRP buy has investors wondering if it's enough to break through a critical resistance zone. In just four days, large wallets purchased around 1.54 billion XRP, worth approximately $2.2 billion, in a buying spree that traders say often precedes a significant price move.
A short seller on Hyperliquid began covering their bet against XRP by buying back 450,000 tokens, reducing their position nearly in half as the token's price stabilized.
Fund managers CoinShares and Franklin Templeton continued to buy XRP even as its price cooled off recently. CoinShares' holdings increased from 129.75 million XRP in December to 148.66 million, while Franklin Templeton acquired around $1.5 million worth of tokens.
