Fin.com, a New York-based payments startup, has secured $20 million in seed funding to develop infrastructure that connects stablecoins to local banking systems. The round was led by Expa, founded by Uber co-founder Garrett Camp, with Coinbase Ventures, Tenet Fund, and sovereign family offices from the Gulf and Africa also participating.

The company's white-label tools enable enterprises to collect, convert, and distribute funds by stitching together stablecoins with local payment rails and digital wallets. Fin.com supports payouts in over 30 countries and across more than 40 currencies.

Founded by Nabeel Alamgir and Mustafa Dar, who built the company out of personal frustration with sending money across borders, Fin.com targets what they call the 'last mile' problem in money movement. Stablecoins are fast and cheap when they stay on-chain, but the moment someone needs local currency in a local bank account, things get complicated.

The stablecoin market has grown to approximately $305 billion in total capitalization, with the US regulatory picture clarifying significantly since the Genius Act passed in July 2025. Fin.com operates as token-neutral infrastructure, meaning it can route through USDC, USDT, or other dollar-pegged tokens.
