21Shares Brings Zcash Exposure to European Investors via Regulated ETP
21Shares has introduced two new exchange-traded products (ETPs) to the European market, allowing investors to access Zcash and ETHFI through regulated Euronext venues. The physically backed Zcash ETP is listed on both Euronext Paris and Euronext Amsterdam, while the ETHFI ETP tracks the governance and utility token of Ether.fi.
The fees for these products stand out at 2.5% annual management fee, which is higher than many comparable European crypto ETPs. Despite this, the launch underscores the growing interest in Zcash and its potential as an alternative to Bitcoin.
Grayscale's Zcash ETF has already been listed on NYSE Arca in the US, and 21Shares' move into regulated product structures is not limited to Europe. The trend suggests a widening institutional appetite for Zcash exposure, despite ongoing debates about how privacy-oriented assets fit into regulated finance.
