A hacker has stolen $2.25 million from three interconnected projects within the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance ecosystem.

The attacker targeted Fetch.ai's bridge, draining 8.7 million FET tokens and minting 400 million of NuNet's NTX token in a single transaction.

Hours later, they exploited the SingularityNET bridge, minting out-of-thin-air 900 million AGIX tokens, as well as 500 million each of World Mobile Chain's WMTx and Cogito's CGV tokens.

The sale of FET tokens generated the lion's share of the attacker's gains, with subsequent sales returning just $420,000 between the four remaining tokens. The prices of minted assets have collapsed due to considerable portions of their supply being made up of freshly minted counterfeit tokens.
