$294 Million Invested by Tech, Crypto Firms Underperforms Against Republican Candidates

Share

The upcoming midterm elections are expected to be the most expensive in U.S. history, with spending projected to reach $10.8 billion.

Artificial intelligence (AI) super PACs and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) have already poured millions into key Democratic primaries.

In New York's 12th Congressional District, AI super PACs spent over $27 million in June alone.

The same group also invested nearly $30 million in Michigan’s Senate primary, backing Representative Haley Stevens against Abdul El-Sayed.

A total of $294 million has been spent by cryptocurrency, AI, Big Tech, and online betting corporations this cycle, accounting for more than half of the $517 million spent overall by corporations.
