3 Million Bitcoin Recovered from Losses in 96 Days
Adam Livingston has observed a significant recovery in long-term Bitcoin (BTC) holders' positions, with over 3 million BTC returning to profitable territory in just 96 days. On June 30, the supply of Bitcoin held at a loss by long-term holders peaked at a record 7.50 million BTC, surpassing the previous high of 6.75 million BTC seen during the 2022 bear market. However, as the price of Bitcoin rose by 48%, this figure has since dropped to 4.46 million BTC, marking the lowest number of long-term holders in loss since April.
Livingston's analysis provides insight into the rapid unwinding of losses among long-term Bitcoin holders. His previous research suggested that Bitcoin could experience substantial growth in the next cycle, potentially increasing tenfold. Additionally, he noted that investors in equity markets were paying $29 for every $1 of S&P 500 earnings, highlighting a 3.45 percent yield in a separate snapshot of the S&P 500.
The latest data underscores the volatility and potential for quick reversals in the cryptocurrency market.
