Liquid Network's federation wallet has been breached after approximately $320 million in Bitcoin was withdrawn. Around 4,000 BTC left the wallet through SideSwap, a settlement platform authorized to process withdrawals from Liquid.

The network described the actors as 'purported white-hat hackers,' but their true intentions and identity remain unclear. Blockstream is working with the attackers on-chain with a signed message.

Liquid Network has halted new transactions as a precaution while it investigates the incident. The breach affects Liquid wallets, which could face disruption during this time.
