$3.5M Nostra Finance Exploit Exposes Starknet Oracle Vulnerability

Nostra Finance's lending protocol on Starknet has been hit by a $3.5 million oracle manipulation exploit, exposing a vulnerability in the DeFi ecosystem.

The attack occurred on September 17, 2026, when an attacker manipulated the market for Nostra's native token, NSTR, causing its price to surge from $0.006 to $49.50, an increase of roughly 8,000 times.

Nostra paused the affected money market shortly after identifying the anomaly and preventing further borrowing against inflated collateral.
