$387M Bitget Breach Spurs Interest in Early-Stage Crypto Project AlphaPepe
Crypto exchange Bitget has confirmed that around $387.5 million in digital assets were transferred to attacker-controlled wallets following a security breach, leaving investors on high alert.
The affected assets included XRP, ETH, USDT, USDC, ZEC, TRX, BNB, AVAX and other tokens across multiple networks.
Despite Bitget's assurance that customer funds remain protected through its User Protection Fund, the incident has sparked renewed interest in early-stage crypto projects like AlphaPepe, which is building momentum before its first public exchange chart.
