4chan Prediction Points to Bitcoin Bottom This Week
An anonymous post on 4chan from December 2023 accurately predicted Bitcoin’s peak on October 6, 2025, when the price hit around $126,000. Now, the same pattern suggests that October 5, 2026, could mark a market bottom, with Bitcoin currently trading near $85,100, a roughly 30% drop from its all-time high.
The prediction is based on a repeating pattern of intervals between Bitcoin’s cycle lows and highs. The post, attributed to the handle SBC7H7La, identified a cycle of 1,064 days between lows and highs, followed by 364 days between highs and lows. This sequence projected the 2025 peak and now points to a potential bottom this week.
While some traders, like veteran Peter Brandt, have expressed optimism about a low around October 4, skeptics argue that the pattern’s limited data, only two Bitcoin cycles, makes it unreliable. Additionally, Bitcoin’s recent 52% drop from its June peak to $58,000 in July was milder than past bear market declines, suggesting the market may have already bottomed out.
Other bold claims, such as Bitcoin reaching $250,000 to $260,000 in 2026, remain unverified and unattributed to the same 4chan poster. For now, traders remain divided on whether the pattern has any predictive value.
