4chan Trader Predicts Bitcoin Bottom for October 2026 After Accurate 2025 Peak Call
An anonymous Bitcoin trader on 4chan, who correctly predicted the cryptocurrency's peak on October 6, 2025, has now set their sights on the next market bottom. The trader's model, which gained attention after its accurate forecast, points to October 5, 2026, as the expected bottom. As of now, Bitcoin is trading around $85,547, roughly 32% below its all-time high but significantly above its July low of $58,000.
The prediction originated from a 4chan post in December 2023. The model uses two time periods: a 1,064-day rise from a major bear market low to the cycle top, followed by a 364-day period from the top to the next major bottom. While the model accurately predicted the 2025 peak at approximately $126,000, the latest bottom call remains unconfirmed as Bitcoin has already shown signs of recovery.
The anonymous model also provides long-term targets, including Bitcoin reaching between $190,000 and $250,000, Ethereum between 15,000 and 20,000, and Solana between 1,000 and 1,500. Other traders and institutions, such as Citigroup, have turned bullish, with Citigroup raising its 12-month Bitcoin target to $113,000 due to stronger crypto activity and renewed ETF inflows. Additionally, corporate buying continues, with Michael Saylor's company purchasing 334 BTC for about $28.7 million between October 1 and October 4, bringing its holdings to 848,000 BTC.
The key question now is whether Bitcoin can hold above $82,000 and build a new uptrend after the predicted October bottom. Some traders, like Crypto Rover, suggest that bear markets have historically ended around this stage, and current price action may indicate an earlier cycle bottom.
