4chan Trader Predicts Bitcoin Bottom in October 2026 After Accurate 2025 Peak Call
An anonymous Bitcoin trader on 4chan, who accurately predicted Bitcoin’s peak on October 6, 2025, is now making waves with a second forecast. The trader’s model, based on simple time periods, marked October 5, 2026, as the expected market bottom. Currently, Bitcoin is trading around $85,547, roughly 32% below its peak but well above its July low of $58,000.
The prediction originated from a December 2023 4chan post. The model uses a 1,064-day period from a major bear market low to the cycle top, followed by a 364-day period from the top to the next bottom. While Bitcoin hit its predicted peak of about $126,000 on October 6, 2025, the latest bottom call remains unconfirmed as Bitcoin is now trading around $85,547.
The anonymous model doesn’t stop at the bottom. It also targets Bitcoin between $190,000 and $250,000 in the future, with long-term predictions of 15,000-20,000 for Ethereum and 1,000-1,500 for Solana. Other traders, including Crypto Rover, are turning bullish, suggesting that the cycle bottom may have come earlier.
Institutional interest is also growing. Citigroup raised its 12-month Bitcoin target from $82,000 to $113,000, citing stronger crypto activity and renewed ETF inflows. Michael Saylor’s company purchased another 334 BTC for about $28.7 million between October 1 and October 4, bringing its holdings to 848,000 BTC.
