$50M Global Online Poker Championship Set to Bring World's Best Players Together

CoinPoker is set to host its Global Online Poker Championship (GOPC), which promises to be one of the biggest online poker tournaments in history. With a staggering $50 million guarantee, the championship aims to bring together players from around the world to compete for cash prizes and medals.

The GOPC will run for six weeks, from August 23 to September 28, with three different schedules tailored to Europe, Asia, and Latin America primetime hours. This inclusive scheduling approach is expected to attract a large number of players, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region where online poker tournaments have traditionally been played at inconvenient times.

The championship will feature over 700 medal tournaments, including three Main Events with guarantees of $3 million, $1 million, and $250,000. The top three finishers in each event will receive Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals, as well as cash prizes. In addition to the guaranteed prize pools, CoinPoker is offering additional rewards through its Comeback Lanes, Top Ten Leaderboards, and Podium Race promotions.

The GOPC is part of a larger series of online poker tournaments hosted by CoinPoker, which has already distributed over $48 million in cash prizes through its World Poker Masters and Battle of Malta Online events. The company's premium membership program, 3-Bet Club, will also be launched on August 17, offering exclusive rewards such as tournament discounts and VIP perks.
