$560K Cryptocurrency Seized from Alleged Hamas Fundraising Operation

US federal investigators have dealt a significant blow to Hamas by seizing over $560,000 in cryptocurrency, as well as taking control of websites and servers allegedly used for online fundraising and recruitment.

U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro described the action as 'a massive blow' to Hamas, which is designated as a foreign terrorist organization by the US government.

The seizures were carried out under three unsealed warrants issued in March, June, and October 2025, targeting fundraising infrastructure associated with Hamas' military wing, the Al Qassam Brigades.
