$592M Investment Firm Bets on Franklin XRP ETF Amid Institutional Surge
Gerber, an Ohio-based registered investment adviser managing approximately $592 million in assets, has added the Franklin XRP ETF to its portfolio. The firm disclosed a new position in the fund through a recent filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
The purchase of 12,958 shares by Gerber is a relatively modest investment, but it reflects the growing interest among institutional investors in XRP-focused products. This follows several similar filings from other investment firms in recent weeks.
In July alone, a number of registered investment advisers have reported increased exposure to XRP ETFs. These include Gallacher Capital Management LLC, which owns 86,744 shares of the Canary XRP ETF (XRPC), and Vista Finance LLC, which holds 129,958 shares of the Franklin XRP ETF.
The increase in institutional ownership has coincided with continued positive inflows into U.S. spot XRP ETFs. Recent data shows net inflows of 532,500 XRP on July 27, following significant investments earlier in the month.
