AAVE Breakout Looms as Derivatives Markets Surge
AAVE is on the cusp of a major breakout after its price climbed by 8% in recent trading. According to TradingView, derivatives markets are signaling growing confidence among bullish traders, with leveraged participation surging by over 165% to $459 million and Open Interest increasing by nearly 27% to around $382 million within the past 24 hours.
The simultaneous increase in both metrics is seen as a sign of fresh capital entering the market. Unlike rallies fueled primarily by short covering, expanding Open Interest alongside rising trading volume typically reflects growing conviction among market participants, particularly when price is approaching a major resistance level.
AAVE token is displaying one of its strongest recovery structures in recent months. After establishing a base in June, the token has steadily formed higher lows while reclaiming key short-term moving averages. The chart now resembles a rounded-bottom reversal, a pattern that often signals the transition from accumulation to a sustained uptrend.
A decisive daily close above $125 would invalidate the broader lower-high structure and confirm a breakout from the rounded-bottom pattern. Such a move could shift momentum toward the $140-$150 range, where the next significant supply zone comes into focus.
