Aave Considers Governance Proposal Granting Sentora Control Over Isolated Lending Market
Aave DAO is considering a governance proposal that would grant Sentora control over an isolated Ethereum lending market on Aave V4. The plan, currently in discussion phase as an ARFC (Abstract Request for Change), would see Sentora receive 50% of the instance's revenue and take over daily operations.
According to the proposed structure, Sentora would have control over parameters such as collateral, interest curves, liquidation, and oracles. Meanwhile, the DAO would retain administrative functions over the hub, spokes, and AccessManager, as well as the power to remove these permissions through on-chain governance.
The proposal also outlines different response times for each type of action. Sentora could pause reserves, freeze assets, or tighten risk limits immediately in some cases, while changes that increase risk would face a 48-hour on-chain delay before taking effect.
