Aave Eyes $500 as Remittix Preps 22% APY Earn Product
Aave (AAVE) could reach $500, a significant milestone that would reflect strong lending demand across decentralized finance (DeFi). The current price of AAVE is around $179, meaning a jump to $500 would require a 179% increase. Such a surge would likely depend on robust deposits, borrowing activity, and broader enthusiasm for DeFi. Aave Labs reported that its V4 protocol surpassed $1 billion in deposits during September, indicating substantial product use.
Meanwhile, Remittix is preparing to launch its Earn product, which promises an attractive rate of up to 22% annual percentage yield (APY) on eligible assets. This could draw users looking for high-yield opportunities. Remittix already offers a live Markets venue and a PayFi transfer service, with the latter entering testing for invited holders. The upcoming Earn product aims to integrate these services, potentially making Remittix a one-stop financial platform.
Remittix has reported over 10,000 iOS wallet downloads and more than $50 million in cumulative Markets trading volume. The platform has also invited 1,000 existing holders to test initial EUR and USD PayFi options. If the Earn product attracts significant deposits and users engage with other services, Remittix could be valued as an integrated financial platform rather than just a presale token. The RTX token is set to debut on November 24.
AAVE's potential to reach $500 hinges on scaling its established lending protocol, while Remittix is at an earlier stage with over $32 million raised toward a $36 million cap. Investors have a window to assess the products before exchange trading begins. The attractive scenario for RTX involves Earn adding deposits, Markets keeping traders active, and PayFi converting wallet users into payments customers.
