Aave Proposes Sentora-Controlled Lending Market Amid Revenue Split
Aave DAO has proposed a new governance model that would give Sentora operational control over an isolated Ethereum lending market, while retaining ownership of the contracts for the DAO.
The proposal, which is still in its community discussion phase, suggests that Sentora would manage day-to-day risk and make decisions on collateral, interest-rate curves, liquidation settings, and oracles, but the DAO would retain oversight and have the power to revoke Sentora's roles through an on-chain governance proposal.
The proposed split of revenue between Sentora and the DAO is 50%, with Sentora receiving operational roles to manage the markets and the DAO retaining contract upgrades and role grants. However, there is no mention of a deficit backstop in the proposal, which has raised concerns among suppliers.
