$AAVE, $SAND, $PUMP: Top Altcoins to Watch in October

As the crypto market enters October, three altcoins stand out with distinct on-chain signals that could keep them in focus: $AAVE, $SAND, and $PUMP. These tokens are not only showing price momentum, but also stronger market participation.

$AAVE, a major DeFi token, has seen a strong move in October, jumping from around $159 to above $180, with a 13.8% move on October 3. On-chain data shows that weighted sentiment has turned higher alongside price, while whale activity has also strengthened. Wallets holding between 100,000 and 1 million $AAVE have added around 190,000 $AAVE since September 28, worth roughly $30 million at recent prices.

$SAND has delivered the most aggressive price move among the three, surging 53.77% on October 3, from $0.045 to $0.0693, with daily volume crossing $1 billion. Whale Transaction Count above $100K has also exploded at the same time, marking the largest spike.

$PUMP, on the other hand, is entering October with a different catalyst: social activity. The Social Volume chart shows a clear increase in discussion as $PUMP recovered from below $0.004 to the $0.005-$0.006 region.
