Aave V4 Draws $1.2 Billion in Deposits on Risk-Based Architecture
Aave V4 has seen significant traction since its deployment on Ethereum, Avalanche, and Arc, with over $1.2 billion in deposits already attracted to the protocol.
Its risk-based architecture separates lending markets into Hub and Spoke structures, allowing for shared liquidity within preset limits between markets with similar risk profiles.
Aave founder Stani explained that this design choice is intended to improve capital efficiency and fund utilization while preserving risk controls.
In contrast to traditional curated vaults, which require building liquidity from zero, Spoke markets can tap existing Hub liquidity directly.
