Aave V4 Surpasses $300 Million in Deposits, Hits $100 Million in Active Loans
Aave V4's decentralized lending protocol has reached new heights in its growth since launching in March 2026, surpassing $300 million in deposits and reaching an all-time high of $100 million in active loans across Ethereum and Avalanche.
The rapid expansion is attributed to the upgraded infrastructure's modular Hub-and-Spoke architecture, which improves capital efficiency, risk pricing, and market expansion. The introduction of stablecoin incentives, expanding collateral options, and stronger borrowing demand have also contributed to its success.
Ethereum currently generates almost all V4 activity, while the Avalanche deployment creates an additional path for native assets, foreign-exchange strategies, and tokenized real-world asset lending. However, the sustainability of this growth will depend on factors such as borrowing demand, deposit retention, protocol revenue, and effective risk management.
