Aave's $4 Trillion Deposit Milestone Marks Shift to Automated Lending
Aave, a leading decentralized lending protocol, has reportedly processed nearly $4 trillion in automated deposits, eliminating the need for manual settlement teams and large workforces, according to its founder and CEO, Stani Kulechov.
Kulechov highlighted the significant reduction in costs and increased efficiency that comes with using automated code for deposits.
The CEO also suggested that all lending could eventually move on-chain, following Aave's example, which could potentially disrupt the traditional financial industry.
Kulechov's comments come as he continues to advocate for expanding on-chain financial infrastructure, citing developments such as the CLARITY Act, which could allow U.S. banks to offer more crypto services without additional approval.
